Zero Trust Architecture for AI Coordination in the SDLC

At the 2025 Confidential Computing Summit, we introduced something we believe will shape the future of secure AI in software development: the Trusted Agentic Coordination System, built in partnership with Opaque Systems and Microsoft Azure.

This marks a new chapter in Bloomfilter’s mission—to bring clarity, confidence, and governance to every layer of the software development lifecycle.

AI agents can build software. But can you trust them?

We’re entering a new era of delivery. AI agents are already writing code, parsing stories, analyzing work, and helping teams move faster across the SDLC. But speed without trust is a short-term advantage—and a long-term liability.

These agents need rich context to be effective: source code, architecture, workflow logic, decision history. In most organizations, that context is highly sensitive. It’s not just data. It’s IP.

And that’s exactly the problem we set out to solve.

What we’ve built—and why it matters

Together with Opaque and Microsoft, Bloomfilter has created a system where AI agents can access the context they need, without compromising data security or governance.

With our Trusted Agentic Coordination System:

  • Confidential data—like process metadata, RAG inputs, and source content—is encrypted and passed securely into a confidential enclave
  • That enclave runs on a cryptographically attested chip in Microsoft’s Azure cloud, meaning the data is protected all the way down to the hardware
  • No vendor access, no plaintext leakage, no assumptions—just proof

This is a zero trust architecture by design. It’s not about believing a provider. It’s about trusting the cryptography.

Setting a new standard for secure coordination

We believe this sets the new bar for secure agent governance in software development. It allows teams to:

  • Train and govern AI agents using real delivery context
  • Ensure SDLC data remains confidential during every phase of processing
  • Adopt agent-based workflows without giving up control, visibility, or compliance posture

In short: it makes AI practical, safe, and scalable in the environments where trust matters most.

What’s next

This launch is more than a technical milestone—it’s the beginning of a broader shift. Secure coordination will be a foundational layer of every modern software delivery org. And we’re building the tools to support it.

If your team is exploring how to bring AI into your SDLC without compromising governance, visibility, or IP security—let’s talk.

We’d love to show you what’s possible.
