Bloomfilter has been named in Gartner’s Coolest Vendor Innovations in Process Intelligence (28 August 2026), which analyzes six vendors.

According to us Gartner’s public framing of the report is blunt: missing operational context hinders enterprise AI adoption. The innovations it covers help organizations adopt AI by redesigning processes and giving agents the operational context they need.

Enterprise AI still has a context problem. Models can reason. They do not know how work actually gets done inside a company. That knowledge lives in systems, handoffs, exceptions, and the paths people and agents take through real processes. Without that context, AI spend is easy to meter and hard to judge.

Process intelligence is the layer that closes that gap. Not as a dashboard bolted on after the fact. As a living record of how work moves, so leaders can see what humans and agents did, what finished, and what came back for the cost.

Why this matters now

Most AI programs still buy capacity and call it progress. Seats. Tokens. Model tiers. Those numbers say something was used. They do not say what the finished work cost, or whether the agent helped.

Agents are becoming participants in business processes. If you cannot see the process, you cannot tell contribution from thrash. You know the rate. You do not know the job.

Bloomfilter’s bet is simple. Connect agent telemetry to business process context. Measure what AI contributes to outcomes, not just how much capacity you bought. Then run the same loop you already trust on any other system: allocate where return shows up, redesign where work is stuck, govern what agents are allowed to touch.

Operational context is the difference between an agent that finishes the work and one that burns energy going nowhere.

What we take from being named

We believe that being named in Coolest Vendor Innovations in Process Intelligence puts Bloomfilter in a conversation Gartner is having about where process intelligence goes next. For us, that direction is clear. Process intelligence has to cover agents as first-class participants in how enterprises get work done.

“AI finally lets you accelerate the proving of work, not just the doing of work,” says Erik Severinghaus, founder and CEO of Bloomfilter. “Process intelligence is how you prove it. If you cannot see what the agent touched and what came back, you are budgeting on rates and hoping.”

“The market still buys model capacity and calls it an AI program,” he adds. “Capacity is not contribution. Contribution shows up in the work.”

Looking ahead

We will keep building for the CIO and CTO who have to make agentic programs accountable: where agents run, what processes they join, and what outcomes followed. Analyst recognition does not change the product thesis. It confirms the problem we set out to solve is the one enterprises are running into now.
